President Klaus Iohannis will attend on Monday the traditional reception hosted by US President Donald Trump in the honour of the heads of delegations taking part to the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
According to a press release by the Romanian Presidential Administration, the reception is due on Monday at 7 p.m. (local hour).
President Iohannis will attend the opening the top meeting of the UN session on Tuesday and he will address the session on Wednesday.
Last year, Klaus Iohannis and his wife, Carmen Iohannis, met US President Donald Trump during the traditional reception in the honour of the heads of delegations taking part to the UN General Assembly, with a picture featuring Klaus Iohannis and his wife, and Donald Trump accompanied by the first Lady Melania Trump being posted the Facebook page of the Romanian head of state.
