President Klaus Iohannis on Wednesday signed the decree appointing Gabriel Catalin Sopanda as Romania’s ambassador to Turkey, the Presidential Administration informs.
The President also signed the accreditation decrees for Viorel Stanila as ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia and for Adrian Kozjacski in Iran.
The new ambassadors were heard and Okayed by the joint foreign committees of the Parliament in early June.
At the same time, President Iohannis approved the disbandment for brigadier general Balint Zoltan from the Interior Ministry.
