The chairman of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Marcel Ciolacu, told private broadcaster Romania TV that (former Bucharest general mayor, ed. n.) Gabriela Firea is the social-democratic candidate for the Capital City Hall.
“Do you want us to go out after this show in Bucharest to see what (current general mayor, ed. n.) Nicusor Dan has done in Bucharest? Is there any developer in Bucharest who does not want to get rid of him at once? Is there anyone who would praise Nicusor Dan? Did Nicusor do something in Bucharest? You don’t have hot water, you don’t have cold water, I don’t know what mafia he’s fighting with,” said Ciolacu.
He added that “the administration is not within everyone’s reach”.
“Mr. Nicusor Dan can be an intelligent man and I understood that he is a very intelligent man. Administration is not within everyone’s reach, it is not an easy job, you have to be good at it. I understand new people in politics, I also saw what the one from Brasov did with the Court of Accounts, I also saw the one from Timisoara. I’m sorry, at this moment these people did not manage simple functions in the administration,” Ciolacu claimed.
