USR-PLUS Alliance established leadership staff. Journalist might coordinate electoral campaigns this year

USR and PLUS leaders have agreed in a joint meeting today to set up an alliance’s Executive Committee that consists in two members of USR and other two from PLUS. The chief coordinator of this leadership body is PLUS MEP, Dragos Tudorache, while the communication department will be managed by USR vice-president Ionuț Moșteanu.

Other members of the leadership body are Silviu Dehelean (USR) -legal- and Dragoș Neacșu (PLUS) -financing.

“We want to get ready for ruling and we’ll secure an alignment with the public policies. There will be also a joint executive team of communicators, to act as image vectors to provide an active, positive opposition to the incumbent ruling”, said Dragos Tudorache.

By the end of this week, the Alliance Executive Committee will also designate a coordinator of the 2020 electoral campaigns and a member responsible for public policies.

According to political sources, USR and PLUS leaders have proposed journalist and business analyst Moise Guran to be the coordinator of the Alliance’s electoral campaign this year (for the local and parliamentary elections), with discussions being currently under way.

Moise Guran has only confirmed that “he had been invited for a talk“.

A particular focus is on the future candidate of the USR-PLUS Alliance for the Bucharest City Hall. He will be most probably agreed following primaries. This version is preferred by the PLUS candidate, Vlad Voiculesuc, while the USR candidate, Nicusor Dan would rather favor a tiebreaker through opinion polls.
