When the Opposition will file the censure motion against Dancila Cabinet?

Liberal deputy Ioan Cupsa has announced today that the opposition parties will file a censure motion against PSD-ALDE government on December 10. Digi 24 reports. However, Cupsa has not revealed if PNL, USR and PMP had managed to convince UDMR and other MPs of the ruling coalition to join their action.

The censure motion will be filed around December 10 and it will be debated the following week. We hope it will pass and we hope to see a reshuffled government. We need 50-60 more votes, at least in theory, from the Social Democrat Party. Following the latest tensions within PSD I think it is possible that the censure motion will pass,” Ioan Cupsa said.

On the other hand, from the UDMR camp, the leader of the Magyar deputies, Attila Korodi told RFI that nobody from PNL or USR had approached his party to talk about potentially endorsing the no-confidence vote. Korodi says though that UDMR is open to discussions.

However, he mentioned there are some conditions to be met so that UDMR should consider a censure motion, the main one being the existence of a ruling team available from the Opposition camp, ready to take the reins.

There are very complicated things and I don’t think the situation has been currently so clarified so that the Parliament should take this step (of a no-confidence vote),” the leader of the UDMR deputies concluded.
