Hundreds of supporters of the opposition in Republic of Moldova have tried to break in the Parliament HQs in Chisinau on Sunday in a new rally staged by Justice and Truth Platform attended by about 10,000 persons.
Pro Russian protesters have blocked the traffic downtown Chisinau on Saturday, by setting up tents on the main Stefan cel Mare Boulevard.
Some protesters were thrusting with the gendarmes, attempting to break in the building, Unimedia.md reports.
This is the fifth anti-governmental protest since September 6.
Thousands of people rallied in the past weeks, staging indignation meetings and asking the resignation of President Nicolae Timofti, of the Government led by PM Valeriu Strelet and calling for early elections.
Moreover, protesters asked authorities to track down the persons who stripped three banks of USD 1 billion.
