Călin Georgescu admits that he was at the Ciolpani farm, alongside Horațiu Potra and Eugen Sechila

Călin Georgescu admitted that he was at the Ciolpani farm on Saturday, where Horațiu Potra and Eugen Sechila also were, but says that he did not participate in the discussions there. The statement was made to Realitatea Plus, a few days after Georgescu claimed that he did not know Potra.

“I did not meet Horațiu Potra there. I was there because they asked me to, but I did not participate in the discussion. My team forbade me from divulging. Things were not for play. They were channeled towards my removal and my physical destruction,” Călin Georgescu claimed. “In the rules imposed by my protection team, I imposed on them not to divulge technical things. My children were threatened at school, I had no heat for three days. It was absolutely natural that the people around me, in whom I have absolute complete trust, would double, triple the protection,” he continued. Georgescu, however, refused the SPP guard.

Just 12 hours after the Ciolpani meeting, Horațiu Potra and his associates were caught by the police as they were heading to Bucharest, armed with pistols, knives and military equipment. Potra was placed under judicial control.

The court’s reasoning for his release shows that Potra, together with his employees, were stopped in traffic following a complaint made by the cousin of one of them. In the conversation between the 112 dispatcher and the caller, the man’s concern is evident, who says that 20 men from the Foreign Legion have left for Bucharest armed to the teeth to incite violent protests.

“They are coming to Bucharest armed, they want to ruin the elections, they have lost their minds, I don’t know what’s going on, sir. They are prepared, they are armed, I have seen live footage of them. They are not talking nonsense, they have weapons with them. Some of them were in the Foreign Legion. “He put it into their heads to come here to wreak havoc,” says the whistleblower in the 112 call.

Eugen Sechila was also stopped in traffic, while he was preparing to leave the country, according to Digi24 information.

The Prahova Court is judging, on Friday, the appeals filed by both prosecutors and defendants, after the Ploieşti Court decided to place under judicial control the former mercenary Horaţiu Potra, currently a politician, close to Călin Georgescu, and the driver who was driving the car in which Potra was traveling and in which the police found weapons.
