CFR Calatori will carry passengers daily to Istanbul and Sofia and once a week to Thessaloniki, as of June 2, 2017, company’s CEO Iosif Szentes said on Tuesday during a debate in the Senate.
CFR will join the Bosporus Express train, to which will also join the Bulgarians and Turks, with a sleeping wagon for Istanbul, with a wagon class destination to Sofia and other sleeping wagon weekly to Thessaloniki.
“For the train to Thessaloniki we intend to attach wagons for vehicle transport. The Thessaloniki group will be attached to the Istanbul train once a week,” Szentes said.
“The number of vehicles depends on the cars’ dimensions,” he added. The level of the fees is still under analysis.
The tickets for the above mentioned destinations are already on sale.
