The Constitutional Court has postponed a decision to July 10 on the unconstitutionality objections referred by PNL and USR and by President Klaus Iohannis, on the amendments voted by Parliament to the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code.
The CCR judges have postponed repeatedly a decision in this case.
Many of the amendments are controversial. An example is the provision reading that the prescription term is reduced and the elimination of the evidence obtained by the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) by warrants of national security for the common files. One of the files that could be affected is the Tel Drum file, with much evidence that could be not taken into consideration.
