Draft: Citizens could make available goods to the state for military drills

Romanian citizens will be able to voluntarily make available their goods during military exercises or rallies, according to a draft signed by the Interior Ministry. Companies and public institutions are also targeted.

The same draft stipulates that physical persons will be able to come forward, either voluntarily or against payment.

“During military exercises, training or rallies involving firing, military drills and general operations which involve the troops’ drill, economic operators, public institutions, as well as other legal and physical persons can give certain goods to the authorized public institutions voluntarily or by the parties’ agreement (…)”, reads the draft.

At the same time, also on voluntarily basis, the authorities can ask physical persons to make available goods or to call them to work for the community.
