False bomb threat at the HQs of local fast courier company

The headquarter of the local fast courier company Fan Courier in Stefanesti, near Bucharest, has been evacuated this morning due to a bomb threat. The alert proved to be false.

The company manager has received an e-mail this morning at 07:38, announcing he will receive a parcel that will blow up at the HQs in Stefanesti around 11:00hrs.

Bomb experts within the Romanian Police and the National Intelligence Service have been deployed on scene, while the activity of the company has been halted.

Dear customers,

For reasons beyond our control, the Fan Courier office in Stefanesti will be evacuated starting 10:30hrs. The activity will be suspended until 11:30hrs.

There will be delays in taking over and processing the phone call and e-mails, including delays in picking up orders.

We’ll be back with updates if there are changes. We are sorry for the inconveniences”, reads a note sent to the customers.
