As February is the shortest months of the year, there’s no February 30… However, Romanians will commemorate four months since the ‘Colectiv’ nightclub conflagration which killed 63.
According to official information delivered by the Health Ministry, 13 victims are still hospitalised, most of them in Belgium
“There are 7 hospitalised in Belgium, 3 in the UK and 2 in Germany. Floreasca emergency hospital in Bucharest holds one person,” Health Ministry representatives said on Monday.
On Monday, 17.00h, Bucharesters will organise a commemoration ceremony in front of the ‘Colectiv’ nightclub with candles and ‘martisoare’, as homage to the 63 victims of the conflagration. The ceremony is expected to conclude by 20.00h.
62 people have died following the fire, of which 27 during the conflagration, 24 in hospitals in Romania and 12 in hospitals abroad. After the ‘Colectiv’ fire 147 injured were hospitalised in Bucharest.
