Maybe just a little context to temper the culture of fear and hysteria: Transmission of the virus is not the same as infection; various pathogens pass through our bodies all the time and we are totally unaware. Most people do not get infected and develop any symptoms, most people do not suffer the severe form of the disease Covid 19. There are distinct risk group factors – cancer, cardio vascular diseases, diabetes, dementia, obesity and those with a Body Mass index of over 23 – these people should really get vaccinated if at all possible. Anyone who knows of someone with any of these concerns should encourage them to get vaccinated. If this happened very few people would be dying.
erratum: By “transmission is not the same as infection” I mean transmission is not the same as the disease Covid 19
