Invention in Iasi – Pedestrian crossing in two… segments

In the city of Iasi (north-western Romania) the local leaders seem to have imagination beyond the ordinary level. On Socola Boulevard a pedestrian crossing is made up from two segments, almost parallel, adevarul.ro reports.

It is not a first in Iasi, however the other such pedestrian crossings are placed at the tram stations, which at least provide an explanation. This one is in fact truly original, locals say, adding that they do not know how to react: should they laugh or should they cry?
