Andrei Plesu’s son, suspect in a drug trafficking case

Mihai Plesu, the son of philosopher Andrei Plesu was taken by the anti-drug police officers on Friday, next to other seven people, judiciary sources told local media. Drug squads have conducted eight searches in Iasi and Bucharest have found 500 grams of cannabis, ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms.

The suspects would have planted cannabis. Policemen have found 500 grams of cannabis at their places, as well as tools used for cropping, electronic scales, cannabis grinders, ecstasy pills.

Mihai Plesu, aged 47, is working as an art restorer.

According to prosecutors quoted by Digi24, Mihai Plesu is suspect of selling drugs especially at parties, where the price of a cigarette could reach even RON 50. Mihai Plesu and the suspects in Iasi had known each other at concerts and parties, as they were fans of the same music genre.
