DNA searches at APIA Tulcea and city halls in Tulcea, Constanta and Galati, in a corruption case

DNA prosecutors have conducted on Thursday searches at the Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) Tulcea and at the city halls in Tulcea, Constanta and Galati counties, in a file of corruption offenses.

The National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) shows, in a press release, searches were made in a criminal file on suspicion of committing crimes of corruption.

Prosecutors carried out17 searches in the counties of Tulcea, Constan?a and Gala?i, of which 12 are public buildings, the rest being headquarters of companies and homes of people.

According to the quoted sources the investigators suspect fraud for granting subsidies to agriculture.
