Police has arrested Bogdan Drăghici, the President of the T.A.T.A NGO, an alliance fighting against the discrimination of fathers, under the charges of raping a minor, namely his step daughter and other children.
Bogdan Drăghici, president of T.A.T.A. Association and father of several children is accused of his wife of raping his step daughter several years ago, judiciary sources told mass media. The man is suspected of rape and sexual assault, with the complaint being filed by the girl’s mother.
The woman says the abuses started when her daughter was 10 and continued for more years, 4-5 years. Moreover, it seems Bogdan Drăghici had even more victims.
The NGO activist has been detained by the prosecutors upon the Bucharest Tribunal and he is facing preventive arrest. He is currently under the custody of the Capital police.
T.A.T.A. is an NGO that has been fighting for years for equal rights between moms and dads in the family, with several actions taken to court on this issue. The NGO has lobbied for the establishment of the Father’s Day in Romania and has filed several complaints at the National Council for Combating Discrimination on several stands allegedly taken by the authorities against fathers.
