District 5 suspended mayor Marian Vanghelie and his lover, Social Democrat MP Oana Mizil became parents of a baby girl on Thursday afternoon. Mizil gave birth through C-section in Sanador private hospital. The girl will be named Maria.
Vanghelie posted on Facebook photos of his girl and Oana Mizil.
Another PSD MP, Madalin Voicu might be the little girl’s godfather.
Previously in the morning, when asked if he is going to assist the delivery, Vanghelie said: “I could assist as I have a lot of life experience.”
Vanghelie, serving a house arrest sentence, got the court’s permission to leave his domicile in order to attend his child’s birth and to register her.
District 5 suspended mayor was released on July 10 after serving jail time for several months in a corruption file in which he is charged with abuse of office, bribery and money laundering.
