Online Catalog for Adoptable Stray Dogs in Bucharest

The Authority for the Supervision and Protection of Animals Bucharest (ASPA) launched on Thursday an online catalog where there are over 1000 dogs, to be given up for adoption. The announcement was made by Bucharest general mayor, Nicusor Dan, on his Facebook page.
The catalog contains photos of puppies available for adoption and detailed information about them – age, sex, color or size.
“In the catalog you will find the contact details, as well as the procedure and documents necessary for adoption. After you have identified a puppy that you like, you can contact ASPA for details and to finalize the adoption”, mentions Nicusor Dan in the post on Facebook.
The oldest dog in the shelter, waiting to be adopted, is almost 15 years old.
ASPA is an institution subordinate to Bucharest City Hall, which deals with stray dogs. ASPA owns three shelters for dogs: ASPA Pallady, ASPA Bragadiru and ASPA Mihăilești. Currently, ASPA Pallady is closed for upgrades and approximately 2,000 dogs are housed in the two functional centers.
