Properties in Bucharest among the cheapest in the world

In most countries, house prices continue to rise faster than wages — making homeownership an increasing struggle for aspiring owners. But the cost of housing differs depending on where you are in the world.

A new study found that the cost of houses in Bucharest is the seventh cheapest globally, averaging $80,052.

That’s according to NetCredit, who analyzed over 800,000 online property listings for 73 global capitals and calculated the median house price for each city.
