The Media Investigation Center has obtained the complaint filed by Dragnea to the Judicial Inspection through his lawyer, Flavia Teodosiu, on August 23.

In his complaint, Dragnea claims that anti-corruption prosecutors have used the protocol concluded by the Public Ministry and SRI on February 4, 2009 in all his three files. Therefore, he asks the Judicial Inspection to check these aspects and to order „the necessary legal actions to remedy the illegal aspects”.

In early August, Justice Minister, Tudorel Toader, announced he would propose to the Premier to adopt an emergency ordinance whereby the persons who believe have been sentenced on the basis of interceptions or protocols involving the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) will be able to call for the sentence review.
