Over 300 Romanians have ordered intelligent watches from Apple, and 10 of them have paid between RON 50,000 to 80,000 for the Luxury Watch Edition.
As local premiere, QuickMobile, the largest technology specialist in Romania, is to start honouring the registered orders for Apple Watch, the first customers will receive their SmartWatches just this week, according to a company release.
“Romanians have shown great interest in the new Apple gadget, and good news for them is that they will receive their SmartWatches this week, despite delays at international level,” said Tudor ?iboc, General Manager QuickMobile.
According to the QuickMobile representative, in two weeks orders for over 300 Apple Watches were paid, 10 of them being the Watch Edition model, 18k gold plated, available for retailer prices between RON 49,999.90 and RON 79,999.90.
“The purchase the 10 Watch Edition was a surprise for us too. There were 3 women and 7 men who paid directly by credit card, they are people known to the public, and most models are ordered in yellow gold,” added Tudor ?iboc.
