Romania will participate with 25 inventions at the 63rd edition of the International Contest Brussels – EUREKA dedicated to inventions, held from Thursday to Saturday as part of the INNOVA Salon.
According to a press release of the Ministry of National Education (MEN), issued on Wednesday to Agerpres, the inventions which are to be presented by Romania at the contest in the Belgian Capital will be exhibited in booth made under MEN aegis.
“For the current edition, the organizers will maintain the presentation formula that includes spaces allocated to the participating countries’ stalls, respectively areas for the presentation of Belgian inventions and projects. Special attention will be given to meetings between potential business partners within the sections: Innovation Avenue – Start-ups Avenue – Social Avenue. The Social Avenue concept, introduced in 2013, is also maintained. The section is dedicated to the launch of some inventions that meet the citizens’ social needs through concrete solutions to everyday problems,” says MEN.
The quoted source adds that, during INNOVA Fair in Brussels, the Ministry of Education will organize business and technological brokerage events for the Romanian inventors.
On Friday, at the national stand in the 10th Pavilion of Brussels’ EXPO Complex Romania’s day will be organized.
The award ceremony is scheduled for Saturday.
