Romania reaches the venerable age of 96

Romania is turning 96 on December 1, marking the day when all Romanian regions got united in one single, almost perfectly round country. We shall be also celebrating 25 years since the fall of communism in December and it is also this month that we shall have a new President after ten years. So, a lot of things to begin with blending with history commemorations are prompting Romania to wear new fine clothes these days, or at least we hope it will.

The Romania Journal prepared special reports to mark the National Day, rejoined in an extensive supplement, “Romania’s Day” available above the TOP NEWS.

You’ll find exclusive interviews with top Romanians, namely with the famous astronaut Dumitru Prunariu, the first Romanian who flew in the outer space, and with the IT genius Ionut Budisteanu, a perfect exponent of the young ambitious generation.

We also invite you to join us in a trip throughout Romanian famous commercial, cultural and travel brands, at the same time presenting a thorough scanning of Romania today.
