A man from a village in Galati county, eastern Romania, is famous abroad for his street art works.
47-year-old Sorin Grecu is an electrician by trade, but he graduated the popular art school when he was young. Jobless meanwhile, he remembered his youth’s passion and turned it into a real profession now. He painted the houses’ walls, fences or shops with special paintings in France and other countries and now he is ready to go to Spain, for a new order.
„I am not an artist, I am a house painter, how it’s called in Romania, I am making people happy on the street. I am the only one who’s painting. The gift is from God...”, he said as quoted by Digi24.
Sorin Grecu has painted not only walls and fences, but also children’s rooms, kindergartens, churches and even the walls of the village bar in Sivita village.
The Romanian was requested in France by a folk music singer to paint his entire house and in less than a month he is going abroad again to paint the walls of a restaurant in Ibiza. Sorin Grecu is exhibiting his works on Facebook.
