RON 26.3 M for the hospitals treating patients injured in the ‘Colectiv’ fire

Interim premier Sorin Cimpeanu informed on Wednesday that the Health ministry will get RON 26.3 M from the Government’s reserve fund to be directed to the Bucharest hospitals where the injured in the ‘Colectiv’ fire are admitted.

“We’ll supplement the Health ministry’s budget by RON 26.3 million to provide the medicine and consumables stocks in hospitals in order to prevent other potential unwanted situation,” the interim PM told ministers in the Gov’t weekly sitting.

The funds will also be directed to the continuation of the treatment and recovery of the patients injured in the ‘Colectiv’ fire. The money is intended for the hospitals treating ‘Colectiv’ victims: Elias Hospital, Central Military Hospital, Floreasca Hospital, Emergency University Hospital, “Grigore Alexandrescu” hospital for children, “Saint Ioan” Hospital, Pantelimon and Bagdasar Arseni hospitals and Hospital for Burnt.

The Government says these funds are necessary as most of the patients still admitted are in critical and serious condition with severe burns and lung damages.
