NATO retorts
The North Atlantic Alliance announced on Thursday that it has no indication that the remains of Russian drones found in Romania are evidence of an intentional attack on NATO territory, but warned of “irresponsible and potentially dangerous” actions, Reuters news agency reports.
“Although NATO has no information indicating any intentional attack by Russia against allied territory, these acts are irresponsible and potentially dangerous,” an Alliance spokesman said in a statement. According to the text, in recent days NATO has intensified its surveillance and monitoring measures in the Black Sea region, including through aerial patrols.
The head of the Ukrainian Air Force, General Mikola Oleschiuk, said on Thursday that three attack drones launched by Russia overnight against Ukraine crossed the Ukrainian border into Romania.
Ukrainian air defenses destroyed 25 Russian attack drones out of 38 launched overnight, the head of Ukraine’s air force said on Thursday.
The head of the Ukrainian Air Force is trying to implicate Romania and consequently NATO into his mess. Just ignore the propagandist. He should be advised to fly a kite over the boarder.
