A group of migrants was found and remanded in western Romania while trying to illegally cross the border from Serbia.
The group was made of five Egyptians, an Algerian and a Pakistani, aged between 19 and 35 years. The seven migrants were discovered by border guards in Timis County, in the Moravita area, Romania-actualitati.ro informs.
They tried to cross the border on foot, on the field, with the intention of reaching a state in Western Europe. The migrants were taken for investigation at the headquarters of the Border Police.
The Police have also contacted the Serbian authorities to implement the Readmission Agreement, i.e. the return of migrants in the neighbouring country.
