Silent protest on Sunday in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic and Romania: Stolen justice!

An international protest is scheduled on Sunday, as of 14.00h, in 40 cities in Poland, in Berlin, Prague and in Romania (Bucharest and Cluj) against “the policy of control and dictatorship, against violating the Constitution, of democratic principles and the EU conventions.”

The protest in Romania is organised by ‘Coruptia ucide’ (Corruption kills) civic organisation and is meant to draw the attention on the dangers of “neo-dictatorships looming in the countries in Eastern Europe by politicizing the justice and through other undemocratic draft bills,” the Facebook page dedicated to the event (Stolen justice – international protest in 4 countries) reads, hotnews.ro informs.

According to the above mentioned page, the protesters will gather between 14.00h and 14.20h in groups and will show sheets of paper or banners with the written slogan ‘Stolen justice’ and the name of the city they are in. At the same time, they are going to cover their eyes and mouth.
