Adrian Ţuţuianu, vice-president of the Social Democrat Party (PSD) has asked before the party’s National Bureau meeting on Monday that the financing sources of the #rezist movement need to be checked, also adding that prosecutors should also investigate if the members of the movement are dealing drugs.
„The unprecedented attack against the president of the Constitutional Court is unacceptable. In a rule of law state, CCR president should enjoy the state protection. Romania’s Prosecutor General had the duty to react as promptly as in other situations that had been more convenient to him,” Tutuianu stated.
„The General Prosecutor’s Office must check the financing sources of #rezist movement and DIICOT must also probe into what extent the members of this movement are guilty of consuming and dealing drugs,” Tutuianu added.
A film posted on Facebook shows several #rezist protesters, among whom Cristian Dide and Marian “Ceauşescu”, heckling CCR head, Valer Dorneanu. Protesters said they had met Dorneanu on Unirii Boulevard and accompanied him home. The incident took place several hours after Cristian Dide had screened a laser with the message „Down with PSD” on the Parliament Palace on Saturday night, while other projections were being screened within iMapp festival organized by the Bucharest City Hall.
