The National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) has made new changes regarding people returning to the country from countries on the epidemiological risk list. The most important is that the age at which children are exempted from quarantine when they return from the yellow or red list countries without a PCR test has increased to 6 years.
Until now, children up to 3 years old benefited from this exemption.
For children between 6 and 16 years of age, the quarantine exemption is based on a negative PCR test, up to 72 hours old.
The measure is valid for those returning from countries in the yellow and red zones.
Adults who have a complete vaccination schedule, have a negative COVID test, or can prove that they have experienced COVID-19 infection are also exempt from quarantine.
For those returning from the green area there are no restrictions on returning to the country.
