Păsări Association/Birds Association set up “Children for Children” Facebook group,through which people can put up for auction anything you think could bring joy to other people in the group, and the funds raised are donated entirely to the educational scholarships of 100 children with serious illnesses supported by the association.

How do I proceed?
You post a picture of what you want to bid on, to which you add a short description and the amount at which you want the auction to start and the delivery conditions (by Courier/Romanian Post and who will pay for the shipping). If you want to buy a product posted by another member, you just have to leave a comment with the amount you want to bid on.
At the end of the campaign?
Each parent will mention the winner in the comment on their own post. Within 7 days, they must send the package, and the winner will provide proof of donation to the Birds Association.

The Birds Association is a non-profit organization founded in October 2023 with the aim of helping the education of children with serious illnesses in Romania. Their mission is to support children with serious illnesses so that after long periods of hospitalization they do not drop out of school, but manage to reintegrate into the education system.
Through the scholarships offered the NGO wants to help them spread their wings and aim as high as possible towards their dreams and a better future. The Păsări Association aims to support the education of children diagnosed with a serious illness. It offers 100 scholarships, worth a total of 10,000 euros per month, to the families of these children for extra classes, therapy sessions and teaching materials, without which these children would not be able to reach their potential. A chance for education also for children who, due to long hospitalizations, were forced to interrupt their schooling for a period. Annually, between 400 and 420 new cases of pediatric cancer are registered, according to statistics from the National Childhood Cancer Registry (RNCCR).
Currently, one in 54 children are on the autism spectrum, and if this rate continues, by 2050 they will be one in two children who will receive this diagnosis. Almost 4,500 eighth-grade students dropped out of school in 2023, the equivalent of 178 classes with 25 children each. Over 7,800 students remained in their final year of middle school. The dreams of so many children to become chefs, doctors or artists were interrupted by a merciless disease.
