Russian kamikaze drones fell close to Isaccea, near a ferry with Romanians

A new Russian kamikaze drone attack last night targeted the Ukrainian ports of Reni, Ismail and Orlivka. Some drones fell near a ferry with Romanians on board, which was leaving Isaccea. In Ismail, the port infrastructure was affected, and several warehouses and vehicles were damaged, even the governor of the Odessa region announced on the Telegram channel. The Romanian Inspectorate for Emergencies (ISU) did not send a RO-Alert message.

A man who filmed the Isaccea drone attack this night spoke to Digi24 about the moment one of the drones fell 30-40 meters from the ferry where he and dozens of Ukrainians were in a coach.

Petru Gabor said that he is a volunteer with the organization Volunteers without Borders and that at the time of the attack he was on Ukrainian territory, right after the time of passport control.

“I was a passenger on the barge. The danger was very close. The first drone fell outside the border, what you saw in the video is the moment with the second drone. It fell 30-40 meters from the people on the ferry. The first attack had just finished passport control, the first drone went down, I ran to the ferry, quickly got on and was trying to tell people to get on the ferry, that we were in their range,” Gabor said.

The representatives of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Tulcea stated that no Ro-Alert message was sent during the night, but that five calls to 112 were received, some from the Isaccea area, from people announcing the occurrence of some banging, informs news.ro. ISU Tulcea mentioned that the Ministry of National Defense is the one who decides when it is necessary to send RO-Alert messages in such cases, and that information is sent by the IGSU.

Oh come on now, stop with this story. The Russians are not Ukrainians. Their technology is more advance in aiming correctly. They will only target the other side of the border. 30-40m in that area is the border line. So what? Stay on the correct side.
