Two Romanian officers commit suicide. One died, the other is seriously injured

Two Romanian officers committed suicide these days, with one of them hovering between life and death. An officer of the Organized Crime Brigade in Constanta died last night at a hospital in Bucharest after shooting himself in the head with his weapon on Sunday. The 24 year-old officer was found unconscious by his apartment mate. He was rushed to the county hospital, but unfortunately he died due to severe injuries. Investigations are under way, suicide is first suspected.

Another officer in G?esti, Dâmbovi?a was admitted in hospital in serious condition after also shooting himself in the head with his weapon on Sunday night, while he was at work. Police sources told local media the man, who has been working in the Police since 2012, was on duty on Sunday night, but left the office, went home and shot himself. He was transferred to a Bucharest hospital. The officers seemed to pass the psychological tests on March. He was not married, had no children, and for now, the reasons of his action are not known.
