A SPP NCO was found shot dead in Libya, where he was on duty, on an international protection mission under the UN aegis. He was found dead in his room inside the UN base.
The Protection and Guard Service (SPP) NCO was aged 38, digi24.ro informs.
The SPP informs it is close to the family of their colleague and will take over, together with the UN officials, the repatriation formalities.
The man was SPP employee since 2004 and was on the third UN mission, after the ones in Sudan and Afghanistan.
The SPP NCO was married and had two children.
