Forecasters predict thunder showers, windstorms and hail to seize all country’s regions since Sunday night, 9 p.m. to Tuesday morning, 9 a.m.
Thunder showers, strong wind and hail will firstly affect Banat, Oltenia, southern Crisana, southwestern Transylvania and mountain regions.
Rainfalls will locally exceed 15-20 liters per square meter and will get sporadically to 30-40 liters/sm.
Starting Monday afternoon (May 25) until Tuesday (May 26) bad weather will move to south, center, northwest and north as well.
Hydrologists also issued a yellow code flood warning on several rivers in ten counties from southern and western country: Timis, Caras-Severin, Hunedoara, Arad, Bihor, Gorj, Mehedinti, Sibiu, Valcea and Olt. The warning is valid starting Sunday night to Monday.
