Tarom flight to Thessaloniki returns to Otopeni Airport

The Tarom flight ROT 275 – YLATF took off at 12.50h on Tuesday to Thessaloniki, but after about 10 minutes it returned to Otopeni Airport, after “information not in accordance with the optimal technical indicators” was noticed, a statement released by the airline informs.

Tarom states that “the safety and security of passengers were never at risk,” and that the aircraft would be replaced as soon as possible to ensure the swift passenger transport to destination.

“The ATR 42-500 aircraft will be subject to detailed technical checks to correct the non-compliance and to ensure the best flight conditions. We apologize to the passengers affected by this inconvenience and we assure them that TAROM will provide ground assistance,” Tarom said.
