“Babes-Bolyai” University (UBB) in Cluj-Napoca launched the first post-graduate anti-corruption and integrity programme in Romania. The programme will train public servants with the aim of preventing conflicts of interest.
The pilot project is conducted in partnership with the National Integrity Agency (ANI). The agency will provide UBB with experts who have worked on various integrity cases and who can share their expertize in the field.
“We want to help public sector improve its abilities, knowledge and we are starting an integrity programme following a partnership with ANI. The programme is dedicated to the public servants in city halls, county councils but also from the parliamentary offices, while being especially designed to provide them with the necessary knowledge in this area. The courses will last 6 months and will take place at weekends,” dean Calin Hintea told Mediafax.
16 people registered for this post-graduate course, among them public servants from Cluj and other counties in Transylvania.
