The man injured in explosion at bread factory in Brasov and transferred abroad has died

The man injured in the explosion at a bread factory in Brasov on November 5 and transferred to a hospital in Graz, Austria, has died, medical sources say.
The man aged 46, named Ion Gavrilescu, died in Graz, where he had been transferred on Wednesday from Brasov County Hospital, as his health condition had worsened.
The other victim of the explosion is in critical condition, a woman aged 51, is still mechanically ventilated, but her condition is stable. She is to be transferred to a clinic abroad.
In the Department of Plastic Surgery there are hospitalized three men aged between 40 and 55 years, but their condition is good, without complications.
A man who was pulled from the rubble after a blast occurred November 5 at Vel Pitar factory in Brasov and who had suffered burns and multiple traumas, died the next day in the hospital. The man was 31 years old and was blocked about two hours under the rubble until being removed.
An explosion followed by a fire took place at a bread factory in Brasov on the night of November 5. Vel Pitar bakery plant suffered an explosion followed by a fire near the city’s stadium, few minutes before the end of a football match.
The fire has been eventually damped down, while five persons out of those 11 reportedly being in the building at the moment of the explosion got out the plant on their feet, safe and sound. Other six persons were injured and rushed to the County Emergency Hospital.
