The winner of last week’s Big Picture photography competition organised by ‘The Telegraph’ – a picture of rural Romania by Diana Buzoianu from London. She will be awarded a professional camera Nikon D3400, the British newspaper informs.
“Saturday comes with great news, my photo has been published in the National British Newspaper “The Telegraph” and have won the travel competition, Diana Burzaianu wrote on her Facebook page.
“It seems the photo has resonated with the idea that Europe still has some untouched and unharmed sites by the so-called civilisation and they should be preserved as we see them,” Diana said for Romanian newspaper ‘Adevarul’.
She mentioned the photo was taken at Fundatura Ponorului, Hunedoara County.
