Timisoara, the first city in Romania to have an air filtering station

The air filtering plant was inaugurated downtown Timisoara on Thursday. According to www.opiniatimisoarei.ro, the device has a car’s size and can be easily moved from one place to another. Practically the station can be positioned in any square and street.

With a cost of about EUR 200,000, the Systemlife station was produced in Italy, working as a vacuum cleaner: it absorbs dust particles from the air, clearing it on 350 meters long distance. “Equipped with an innovative technology, the filtering air system is capturing inside the polluted air during a continuous cycle that grabs the fine particulate, the other pollutants and odors, and returns clean air into environment. Created for the filtering of fine particulate, bacteria, VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), this filtering station is now capable of also reducing concentrations of NOx (Nitrogen oxide)”, the producer company explains.

Timisoara City Hall announced it would pay off the bill when the device proved to run properly.
