Two Dutch DJs were caught on Friday afternoon with prohibited substances at Iasi International Airport. The two DJs, who attended the Afterhills Festival, ongoing in Iasi these days, were taken to the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) offices, hotnews.ro reports.
“Two Dutch citizens have been brought today at DIICOT Iasi, after substances susceptible of drug use were found on them. The two citizens will be heard and the necessary measures will be taken,” DIICOT Iasi chief, Catalin Prisecaru, said.
According to sources, the two Dutchmen spent the night of Thursday to Friday at the Afterhills Festival and tried to embark on a plane for Bucharest Friday afternoon, intending to book a flight for Netherlands.
The substances have been sent to the lab for tests, the products could be ecstasy and cannabis. Depending of the tests results, the prosecutors might file a proposal for remand for drug consumption and drug trafficking.
