A Romanian-American 15-year-old girl living in Râșnov was reportedly missing after she had gone to school in Brașov on Wednesday and never come back home. Her phone was tracked down on a street downtown Brașov.
Fortunately, the girl was found eventually in Bucharest on Thursday evening. “Following search operations, the girl was found around 5 p.m. at the North Station in Bucharest. She is safe and sound and will be given to her family”, police officer Liviu Naghi said.
Howey Mira Sheanne’s mother told police officers that her daughter had not returned home from school.
According to the Brașov Police, the girls is 1.80m high, has 65 kilos, brown medium hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a blue pair of jeans, grey T-shirt with a “Starwars” black inscription, black anorak and sneakers. She also had a black backpack.
The girl’s parents posted a notice to find their daughter, also asking for the help of the US Embassy in Bucharest.
“If someone sees Mira in Brașov or its environs, please contact us immediately. She was last seen at school on Wednesday around 15:30. We are extremely worried for she hasn’t got her phone. She might wear her glasses, “ Camelia Howley, the teen’s mother wrote.
Her mobile phone was eventually found on Apollonia Hirscher street downtown Brașov.
