Road traffic was blocked on DN26 Vanatori — Blagesti, in the counties of Galati and Vaslui; DN24D, in Galati County, between the intersection on DN26 (Tulucesti area) and the Vaslui County borders; DN24A Murgeni — Falciu, in Vaslui County; DN24B Albita — Husi, Vaslui County; DN2F Vladia — Ivanesti, Vaslui County and DN11A Podu Turcului — Barlad, Vaslui County and portion thereof in Vrancea County.
Traffic of motor vehicles weighing more than 7.5 tonnes was restricted on DN28A Targu Frumos — Pascani, Iasi County, because of snow.
Meteorologists have issued a Code Yellow warning on Friday for strong winds and snow layer for 16 counties in the north, east and centre Romania, valid until 14.00h and a meteorology warning for very cold weather, frost and hoar-frost, valid until Saturday morning 9.00h.
The Code Yellow concerns the counties of Suceava, Neamț, Iași, Bacău, Vaslui, Vrancea, Galați, Buzău, Brăila, Tulcea, Covasna, Harghita, Brașov, Prahova , Argeș, Sibiu.
Pregnant woman from Iasi delivers in an ambulance vehicle
A pregnant woman from Bâtca village in Iasi county has delivered in a vehicle for multiple victims transportation on Friday. She was assisted by an Ambulance nurse. All roads in the area were closed due to the heavy snowfalls and due to the fallen trees.
The 23-year-old woman gave birth to her second child. Her condition and the newborn’s are very good.
