World’s Most Awarded Cat in Bucharest!

Cats to "race" in East European Feline Championship - Black Sea Winner.

This weekend will mark the first edition of the Eastern European Feline Championship, titled Black Sea Winner. The competition of these magnificent felines will take place on September 28-29, 2024, at the Central Pavilion of Romexpo, between 10 AM and 5 PM.

On this special occasion, the public will have the chance to watch and support some of the world’s most awarded cats from various breeds: Abyssinian, Russian Blue, Bengal, British Shorthair, British Longhair, Chartreux, Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, Exotic, Maine Coon, Neva Masquerade, Norwegian Forest, Oriental, Persian, Ragdoll, Siberian, Singapura, and Sphynx.

For the first time, a Somali cat, crowned as a world champion, will also compete. Additionally, eight world champion cats are registered for the competition!

Among the feline Super Champions making their debut in Romania is Sweet Dreams – the world’s most awarded feline champion – a stunning white Persian cat.

Household cats will also compete in a special category created just for them.

As always, at SofistiCAT’s Feline Salon events, there will be a dedicated area for cats up for adoption, hoping to find loving families.

The event is organized by the SofistiCAT Feline Salon and the National Feline Federation of Romania (FNFR), under the aegis of FIFe (Federation Internationale Feline), bringing together breeders from 14 European countries.
