The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued a Yellow Code warning for rainfalls in Dobrogea, most of Muntenia and southern Moldavia starting by 14.00h on Wednesday until Thursday 9.00h.
The warning is targeting Bucharest and the counties of Ilfov, Giurgiu, Călăraşi, Ialomiţa, Constanţa, Tulcea, Brăila, Buzău, Prahova, Galaţi and Vrancea, for water quantities of 25 litres per square metres and on isolated areas 50-60 l/sq m.
Wind will intensify in the south-eastern territory with wind gusts of some 50-55 km/h and at the seaside 60-70 km/h. In the mountains snow falls will be dominant with blizzards, meteorologists warn.
