The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued a Yellow Code for wind intensification and snowfalls in the mountains, valid from Monday 11:00h until Tuesday 10:00h.
During this period, snow will fall in the mountains on larger areas in the Eastern and Southern Carpathians where the wind gusts will reach speeds of over 60-70 km/h, with blizzards.
On the night of Monday to Tuesday (October 3/November 1), precipitations predominantly as snow will fall in eastern Transylvania and northern Moldavia.
