600 copies of the Testament of Abraham by Igor Bergler are sold every day, which means the novel has posted a record-setting pace – one book per minute, and this record is unbrokenly seen since the book’s release, more than 60 days ago.
Not even one selling or display point has been let unexplored due to a spectacular marketing campaign, from the cinema, TV and online commercials, screenings on giant screens such as the one on the Cocor store in Bucharest, to the advertising in the tube stations, but particularly due to the book’s exceptional quality.
The Lost Bible, Igor Bergler’s first book, is the Romanian best-selling novel since the Revolution of 1989, exceeding more than 100,000 copies only two years since its release, which is already purchased by the most important publishing houses in 11 countries. There are ongoing negotiations for eight more ones.
The Testament of Abraham will apparently exceed the Lost Bible.
According to Jean Harris, the official translator of the two books in English, the readers are in love with the Testament of Abraham, with its exceptional look luring readers to touch it, to skim it and with the extraordinary richness of the text. Harris said that thousands of readers say they are even more thrilled about the Testament of Abraham than about the Los Bible.
The Testament of Abraham will officially launch in Bucharest on November 25, at 15:00hrs, at the stall of Litera Publishing House within the Gaudeamus Book Fair at Romexpo.
