The group of the African diplomatic and consular missions accredited to Romania is hosting the “Africa Day” event, with the topic “Africa and Romania” at the National Library of Romania on May 22, from 12:00 to 14:00.
The event is highlighting Africa’s strategic importance worldwide and the excellent cooperation between Africa and Romania.
An exhibition of traditional costumes, carpets and other items will be presented, as well as a presentation of the gastronomy specific to those 12 participant countries: South Africa, Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Ghana, Libya, Madagascar, Morocco, Nigeria, Democrat Republic of Congo, Sudan and Tunisia.
