Famous fado singer Ana Moura will perform at Palace Hall in Bucharest on December 28, bringing his recent “Desfado” album and Portuguese traditional Christmas music to the Romanian audience. Moura has also performed in Romania in 2013 in a three-city tour, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara. “I have lived extraordinary moments in many places in the world, but I cannot forget last year’s tour in Romania. I performed in special auditoriums, next to a remarkable audience. So, returning to Bucharest is a great honor and joy for me, all the more so as the concert will be dedicated to Christmas, such an emotionally intense celebration”, Ana Moura told a press release, as quoted by Mediafax.
Born in 1979, Ana Moura is the most loved fado singer in Portugal and the youngest fadista to be nominated for a Dutch Edison Award. She has been awarded with two Amalia Rodriguez prizes, for the best singer in 2008, and for the best album, “Desfado” this year.
